food funnel02As many of you know, there is a great need for food in our communities. Many pantries already exist, but do not have enough food to distribute.

At the AECDC we collect food, much of it from the Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple Religious School, and bring it to others who already have a network in place to get it to the neediest members of the community.

We donate food to Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen, where anyone who enters is given a full meal, and food pantries in So. Brunswick, Middlesex County, and Franklin County.

We also give boxes of cereal, pasta, cans of tuna and jars of peanut butter to our clients, who too often are choosing between buying food, buying medicine or paying rent.
