B'nai Mitzvah Diaper Drive
Dana and Steven Schrager's family has made diaper drives a new family tradition: Their Thanksgiving and Passover guests are asked to bring them to dinner, and her two children, Payton & Eli, shared their commitment by asking guests to bring disposable diapers to their B'nai Mitzvot celebration
Dozens of boxes were donated, and all will go to comfort and protect young children in low-income families. In all almost 1800 diapers plus cash donations as well! That covers at least 22 visits from families who need diapers of varying sizes.
Dana is a board member of the AECDC, Inc., which provides free baby basics like diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, car seats, and cribs to families in need in Middlesex County. With only one paid staff, the AECDC needs more donations and more volunteers like Dana and her family!
