We continue to receive hundreds of diapers from Brandeis Women and other groups, like Elinor’s Culture Club.
Our Resource VP, John Yen, has become a Craig’s List devotee, searching for baby items and asking the sellers if they’d be willing to donate to us.
He’s had a strong response – and has been very busy picking up a variety of items, including diapers, high chairs and bassinets.
Good $$$ news:
We continue to receive responses to our Year End Appeal, which has now reached just under $14,000,
We received a $2,500 grant from the Lillian P. Schenck Foundation.
Infant Car Seats:
With increased financial resources we are now able to purchase new car seats, and will be providing two a week to families in need.
AECDC Vice President Matt Feldman and Program Coordinator Adam Cohen have re-organized the warehouse to make room for all the new items!
We are always happy to help set up diaper drives. Please let us know if you would like to do one!
Community Advisory Council:
- Once again, we are partnering with the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry, registering our clients for food from the pantry in Milltown, and picking up and delivering it to clients who are without transportation.
- We’ve re-connected with Eric B. Chandler Health Center, renewing a long-term relationship. Once again, their patients will come to us for diapers, formula, and other baby items
