Our Mission
Vision: All people deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion to meet their physical, emotional, social and economic needs.
Mission: The mission of the AECDC is to actively collaborate with others to provide health-related and social services.
- Our clients, referred by agencies and other service providers, are the elderly, disabled, very young and other at-risk individuals and families struggling with health and safety, social, and economic issues.
- Through collaboration with other community programs, the AECDC serves people of all races, ethnicities, ages, genders, and religions, with linguistic and cultural sensitivity.
Eligility for AECDC services is determined by income, with eligible families earning up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (Federal Poverty Guidelines).
Access to Services: We work with and through other agencies to serve clients. Public and private health and social service agencies send us referrals for diapers, formula, baby equipment and durable medical equipment. Clients can come to our centrally-located New Brunswick office, have goods delivered by our volunteer Youth Corps, or have their caseworker pick up and bring the diapers to their homes.
